Another contraption for reading
Yet another book holder. I like this one better: the pages don’t get creased, and you can turn the page without much fuss.

Found in National Bookstore, P291.50. It should come in handy if you’re doing a Cormac McCarthy marathon.

The collected McCarthy with new cover designs at Fully Booked.
I pass for now; Cormac McCarthy makes me feel like shooting people to spare them from this mortal coil (Sentence expanded; there are literalists amongst us).

I like the idea of having a book holder but I don’t use one because I love the feel of a naked book. Ü

I just read The Road by Cormac McCarthy (couldn’t find it in the photo). It’s a shame the film is not getting a very wide release. Not least of all because it stars Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron.
It’s a good book language and plotwise. My only beef with it is that nothing much seems to happen in the novel for long periods of time.
Cheers.

Can you tell me which branch you got the Gimble from? I’ve been looking for it and the people from NBS don’t seem to know what it is. :(
